In this article, I've posted the "diet tips for six pack abs" portion of our interview we recently did. Enjoy! Here it is...

CB: And finally Mike, 1 or 2 of your top secret nutrition tips for carving out those six pack abs. Open your vault of info!

MG: Well Craig, I think you'd agree that there has never been a more confusing time regarding proper nutrition for consumers. Every so called "expert" out there seems to disagree and contradict each other on what's the best way to eat for fat loss and overall good health.

One of the most important messages I try to teach my readers in this world of heavy confusion is that your diet doesn't need to conform to any of the fad diets... you don't need to go "low carb" or "low fat", or high or low anything for that matter to be successful in losing enough body fat to get lean enough to be able to see your abs. I like to try to simplify things for my readers. I think that balance is the key to success along with eating a diet that is made up of nutrient dense foods in their natural state (as unprocessed as possible).

In general, it is the heavy processing of foods that makes it wreak havoc inside our bodies. Most foods in their natural unprocessed state are inherently good for us. Of course there are always exceptions... a salad of poison ivy leaves is "natural and unprocessed" but certainly would not be good for us!

I'll leave your readers with a couple of the most important aspects of nutrition and diet that help to get you lean for life (and have any chance of getting those abs to show)...

1. Get enough quality protein in the daily diet - not only does it have a higher thermic effect than carbs and fat (so you burn more calories digesting it), but it also creates satiety so your hunger is satisfied longer. Plus it's a building block for maintaining and building lean muscle... And remember that the amount of lean muscle you carry is one of the main factors for controlling your metabolism.

2. Think fiber! When it comes to carbs, make sure that almost all of your carbohydrate intake is from higher fiber sources like vegetables, fruits, and high fiber unrefined grains. Try to avoid refined sugars and refined grains as that is one of the main reasons so many people struggle with body fat. I personally don't eat many grains as I prefer to get most of my carbs from veggies and fruits, but I am a bit of a fan of sprouted grains. I generally recommend looking for carbohydrate sources that have at least 2-3 grams of fiber per each 10 grams of total carbs. Remember that fiber helps fill you up and also slows down the glycemic response of the foods you eat, all beneficial for getting lean.

3. Don't be afraid to eat fat! Many people try to go way too low on their fat intake in their diet and this can negatively affect hormone levels in your body as well as causing more cravings. Try to eat enough healthy fats daily. Good sources are all nuts and seeds, nut butters, avocados, olive oil, organic meats and eggs, coconuts and virgin coconut oil. On that note, saturated fats from tropical oils are VERY misunderstood, even by many nutritionists and other health professionals. Yes they are composed highly of saturated fats, but are actually beneficial (but that's way beyond the scope of this article).

4. Avoid the two worst things in our food supply at ALL COSTS:

*artificial trans fats from margarines, shortening, and hydrogenated oils that are in most processed foods

*high fructose corn syrup, which is in almost all sweetened products on the market

Again, if you avoid processed foods, it becomes easy to avoid these two worst offenders in our food supply.

I always contend that once you get a handle on these 4 main points of your diet detailed above, the rest starts to take care of itself as you gain control over your appetite, blood sugar levels, hormone levels, etc. It all falls into place, and you eventually gain total control over how lean you want to get. Gain control of this part of your life, and those abs may be showing in no time!

d. Machines without weights like treadmills.

4. Diet supplements:

a. Protein supplements: Getting good-looking abs needs extra protein to build muscle.
b. Creatine: Increases the amount of ATP to your muscles. Releasing more energy. This allows you to exercise longer.
c. Multivitamins: These will help you get more vitamins and minerals in your body. This will make sure you get adequate nutrition to your body and increase energy levels.

The ABS Workout

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Our cars carry around very precious cargo everyday so it’s not surprising that when buying a car, safety is at the top of every yummy mummy’s list. There are many vehicle safety options to consider including airbags and crash test ratings, but most importantly you must consider a cars breaking system.

Conventional breaks allow us to get a good leg workout by pumping the breaks. This allows the tires to roll between lockups and allow opportunities for steering control. An Antilock Breaking System (ABS) does much the same thing, except thanks to technology, there’s no workout required so we can relax as pumping is done automatically and at a much quicker pace. Even on slippery roads ABS provides the shortest stopping distance.

Understanding how ABS works is only half the battle, it’s also very important to know how to use the ABS equipment properly (since its effectiveness depends on the driving techniques you use).

*No Repetitions Required
Do NOT pump the brakes in a car with ABS. Instead, apply firm braking pressure and hold the pedal down. The pulsing brake pedal tells you that the ABS is at work.

*Time Yourself
Allow ample time and distance for your vehicle to stop safely, especially when driving larger or heavier vehicles.

*Keep Focused on Your Goal
Instead of gripping the steering wheel and saying your prayers, steer the car out of harms way while you are breaking.

The ABS feature is standard in some vehicles and comes as an option in others. Ask about ABS on your next car and be sure that you get the breaking system you want.

Effective Abs Exercises - Part I

Do the following ab workouts properly, observing proper posture and movement in your exercises in order to receive the best results. Do these ab workouts in three sets of twenty repetitions. Alternate these exercises in between sets to achieve maximum results. It is better if you employ the help of a licensed physical fitness trainer before doing the following exercises in order to do away with any possible injury you may acquire in the process.

Weighted Curls with Medicine Ball or Weight Plate. Begin this workout by lying on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat against the floor. Then hold a medicine ball towards your chest. Then push your lower back into the floor with arches flat and hold this position in your ab workouts. Curl your way up just enough so as to lift both of your shoulder off of the floor for a few inches. Hold this position for two counts and then return to the first position in your ab workouts.

Plank. Begin your ab workouts by lying face down on an exercise mat with both your elbows right next to your chest, with your palms facing down. Then slowly push your way up from the floor, raising yourself up on to your toes and elbows while keeping your palms flat in your ab workouts, and your back also flat and angled up from your toes and shoulders.

Hold your abdominal muscles tight, while keeping your spine neutral in position. The next step in your workout would require you to tilt your pelvis, and then contract your abdominals in order to prevent your backside from sticking too much in the air. Hold this position for thirty to sixty seconds, then repeat this process as much as your regimen requires. These ab workouts target your front midsection as well as your biceps and back muscles.

James never thought he would be a personal gym trainer when he once weighed 311 lbs.He is now a total fanatic about muscle-building and crunches his way through his CSI. Now doing freelance teaching to people who require proper healthy diets, he always advocate his motto of "not giving up".

Ways to Get Abs for Everyone

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Are you so confused by the many ways to get abs that you haven't even started working out? Too much expert advice getting you down?

Some people say diet is most important, some people say cardio. Some people tell you to do crunches, others say don't. Some people tell you to work out at home, others say you should go to the gym.

Who's right?

The good news is that there really is no one right way to get abs. All of those experts are right.

The bad news is that you have to make the choice. Only you can decide where, when, and how to work out.

Don't worry, though. If you know a little bit about yourself, making a choice that's right for you is simple.

There are really only 2 things you need to do to get stellar abs.

1. Follow a healthy diet 2. Commit to a regular fitness routine

There is a vast variety of ways to go about these 2 tasks, though.

Diet Choices:

A healthy diet should be low in fat, high in fruits and vegetables, and based on whole grains. When you're exercising a lot, you also need a higher protein intake.

Before you decide on the diet plan that works for you, you need to answer 2 quick questions.

* What needs to change in your current diet? * Do you eat out a lot?

Compare your current diet to the recommendations for a healthy diet above. How far off are you?

If, like most people, you see too much fat in your diet, you will need to concentrate on reducing your fat intake. Get rid of the "bad fats" first, such as those in fast-food, potato chips, and other fried junk foods. Then slowly cut out other unnecessary fats. Replace butter with vegetable oil in your cooking.

Do you see a lot of processed carbs in your current meals? These are often found in white bread and pasta. Then cut back on these carbohydrates. Try replacing them with whole grain alternatives.

Do you eat a lot of meat or dairy products? These are a big source of fat and cholesterol. Replace them with low fat alternatives. Consider giving some vegetarian substitutes, such as tofu and soy milk, a try.

You don't have to stop eating out to follow your diet, but you may need to make some changes. Fast food hamburgers and french fries will need to go. But, many restaurants offer low fat meal options. Also, you can request that your food is cooked with vegetable oil rather than butter. Get your sauces and dressings served on the side.

Picking a diet plan that will help you achieve your goals is the most important step. When that's done, everything else will be easier.

The next step is to pick exercises that you will enjoy. Yoga, walking, running, and bicycling are all great cardio workouts. Alternate those with the ab targeting exercises of your choice, and you'll have a fully developed fitness plan tailored just for you.

Even though there are many ways to get abs, the only ones you should worry about are the ones that work for you, because if you aren't happy with your fitness plan, you won't achieve the results you want.

The Truth About Getting Abs

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

The truth about getting abs is that many people go about this the wrong way. When they do not achieve the results they expected they become disappointed and will give up before succeeding in their goals. Showing off your “6 pack” gives you a feeling of pride and achievement. Great abs can be realized in as little as 6 weeks when you know how to do it. Here are a few points that will help you.

An important detail that is often overlooked is the fact that in order to get great muscles in this area you will need to reduce any extra fat or your “6 pack” will not be visible. In fact you will look fatter as muscle will be built up under the fat cells and will not be apparent. The truth about getting abs is that in order to avoid this problem you will need to reduce your body fat percentage to a minimum.

You can do this by adjusting your eating habits and consuming a more natural diet. This is easy to do. You just need to:

1. Cut out all junk foods. This will include foods such as candy, chips and sodas.
2. Reduce carbohydrates, but do not eliminate them.
3. Increase your fiber, fruits and vegetables. Replace refined foods with whole grain foods.
More fiber in your diet will fill you up and allow you to lose fat naturally. You will eat less and not feel as hungry. 4. Instead of sodas drink water. This will not only reduce calories but when you increase your water consumption will get rid of toxins in your body faster, resulting in better health. . The truth about getting abs is that when you do it will allow you to lose weight and reduce your fat. Once you do this, your “6 pack “will become visible and the results of your hard work can be proudly displayed.

The next thing to do is to build your muscles. There are many special machines on the market that will help you do this. You should also be aware that you will need to do more than a few crunches to build muscle in this area. There are a number of exercises that you can do with and without weights to build muscle in this area.

Anther truth about getting abs is to use diet supplements. Protein is important in building muscle and you should take extra protein if you want to build muscle in this area. There are several supplements available. Whey is one of the best and most widely used. It is a natural product made from milk and does not have any side effects. You can get it in dried powder form and mix it in any cold beverage. Taking a supplement like this will speed up your results and you can have that great “6 pack “in as little as 6 weeks.

As you can see the truth about getting abs is mainly knowing how to do it. With these few points you can easily have a great set of “6 packs” to display with pride.

How to Burn the Fat and Expose your Abs

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Getting ripped or even just a slightly defined six-pack isn't in any way easy. It takes a lot of work, and I don't just mean sit ups. There is a lot more work that has to be done in order to get those body builder abs.

It is a major miss-conception that doing x amount of sit-ups will give you a nice symmetrical bundle of bumps on your stomach. If you did just do sit ups you would more likely have strong abdominal muscles hidden under a single large flabby bump on your stomach and that is not a muscle I'm talking about. You could have the strongest abdominal muscles in the world and if there was fat on them then it still wouldn't show.

To carve out those abs like a Greek sculpture you must first carve the fat away from your belly so that those glorious bumps can surface and expose themselves like a dolphin breaking the water. However, losing weight is not easy and it is more difficult depending on your body type. For example if you have a body type that gains weight easily (endomorph) then you will have more trouble burning the fat than someone who loses weight easily (ectomorph). However, despite the body type differences the methods are still the same.

To burn that fat away you have to do cardio exercises. By this I mean you have to do exercises such as running, swimming and cycling. Lifting weights and doing sit-ups won't help you lose weight at all. They are muscle-building exercises. It's as simple as that. You have to either run, swim, cycle or do other cardio exercises to burn the fat. Once you have lost the fat maybe then you can think about building your abs up to Grand Canyon size.

Unfortunately the above methods of losing weight are more difficult than they sound. Cardio exercises aren't easy and it does take a lot of work. However don't let this put you off because, despite it's difficulty it’s still the best way to lose weight.

Some people might be thinking, "No that’s to hard I'll just stick to the low calorie diet to lose weight." If you are thinking this then be careful because you are walking into a trap. Diets are not easy either and they can have some bad after effects. Chances are that with a low calorie diet you will totally wreck your metabolism making you so much more susceptible to gaining weight after you have lost it. Not to mention that starving yourself to lose weight isn't exactly fun either.

I'm not saying go on, "blood, sweat and tears," runs everyday when you come home from work. You can easily just go for a light jog or a run, if you're more confident, to pick up bread and milk for tomorrow’s breakfast. In general just try to be more active and less passive, sitting in the same chair watching TV everyday. You can let your abs show through the fat with just a little bit of self-control and determination.

Getting Six Pack Abs Is Like Building A House

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

When most people think about getting six pack abs, they focus on, surprise surprise, the stomach, in the belief that the route to the goal is crunch, sit up, crunch, sit up.

This is a misguided view, and I'm going to illustrate it with the image of building a house.

If you just built a roof, and put it on the ground, it may look good for a while, but is is unsustainable.

It has no solid foundations, and cannot last. It won't be long before the admiring glances will disappear, as will the roof, and you'd have to start again.

If you want to build a house properly, you have to put in the long work, starting with the solid foundation. Then you work upwards, working over the whole house, and finally you put the roof on.

The house, and anything in it are solid, secure, and there to last, a permanent fixture needing no more than routine maintenance.

The same applies to getting six pack abs. All the adverts that claim fast results and rippling stomachs are leading you and your wallet down a wrong path.

You need the solid foundation, which is an all round fitness regime.

Trying to build any muscle is isolation is very hard, and not healthy anyway, so don't just concentrate on the stomach.

You'll need to get rid of any belly fat before your abs are even visible, otherwise any crunches and sit ups are a waste of time.

Finally, when you have got your general fitness up, and developed a sustainable healthy diet, basically anything in moderation, then your house is built.

At this stage, your stomach will be well defined and looking good. If you want to then put in extra work on that area, go ahead, but make sure it's just the topping to the general foundation.

So, I hope I've shown how you can imagine a building project to help on your way to getting six pack abs!

Liposuction and weight loss

--------------------------------------

Often times as humans we tend to lose patience with a lot of things. Losing weight
or getting a six pack abs is no exception. We want to lose weight now. There are
a wide variety of alternative ways of losing weight or sculpting a perfect body,
quickly. Liposuction is one of them. I'm not endorsing liposuction in any way.

If you're considering liposuction to get a 6 pack abs, then this article will
give you a basic understanding of the process of the surgery. When it can aid, how
it is done and how you might look and feel after the surgery. It is important to
note that 6Pack.co.za is not promoting liposuction. Proper nutrition, cardio exercise
is the way to go.

What is liposuction?

Liposuction is a process that can used to sculpt the body by removing surplus
fat from targeted areas. Sculpting can be done one a lot of areas including the
abdomen, thighs, buttocks etc.

Liposuction is also known as lipoplasty or suction lipectomy.

As technology advances a lot of new techniques are being used, including ultrasound
assisted lipoplasty, super wet technique, and the tumescent technique. There are
some of the new tools that can assist many plastic surgeons to help patients achieve
their goals quicker.

It is important to note that no type of liposuction is a substitute for proper
old fashioned dieting and exercise. However it can be a useful tool that can be
used to remove stubborn areas of fat that does not react to traditional weight loss
methods or exercises.

If you are seriously considering doing liposuction, then do the following:

· Consult a medical doctor and plastic surgeon to see if you qualify to become
a candidate.

· Do some research by reading up on liposuction and also the alternative techniques.

· Speak to people that have gone through it.

· Weigh up the pro’s and the con’s of the surgery

For who is Liposuction?

People who have realistic expectations of what the surgery can do for them. They
should be physically fit, mentally stable and realistic in their expectations. The
candidate should also have a normal weight and elastic skin. The surgery carries
a great risk for potential candidates with medical problems. People with poor blood
circulation, diabetes, and heart or lung disease should not do the surgery. They
have to consult with the medical experts.

The process: A basic explanation.

1. The doctor must consult with potential candidate and evaluate if the person
is medically and mentally fit for a surgery.

2. If medical check is successful then the plastic surgeon can help you decide
on which option or technique to take. Here the candidate can ask lots of questions.

3. Preparation and guidelines are given by surgeon. What to eat and drink, smoking
etc.

4. Venue is given where surgery is going to take place.

5. Surgeon chooses anesthesia to be used. Depending on the volume of fat to be
removed.

6. The surgery time will vary depending on the amount of fat to be removed.

7. The surgeon inserts a tube through small incisions in the skin. At the other
end of the tube is a vacuum pressure unit that suctions off the fat.

8. After surgery a compression garment is given. This helps to reduce swelling
and after a couple of weeks there should be positive results.

9. Surgeon might suggest for patient to walk around to reduce swelling and prevent
blood cloths from forming.

10. Strenuous activities should be cut out.

11. Patient should go for regular follow up visits to the doctor to monitor and
also to check the progression.

12. The new you. There should be a visible difference.

It is important to note that nothing in life is guaranteed and there are lots
of risks involved. Results will vary from person to person. If a person’s expectations
are realistic, they will be very pleased with the outcome of the surgery. Person
might feel better in clothes and more confident about self. The flat stomach might
be visible.

Healthy diet and proper regular exercise should be in place, to maintain the
new shape. This is one of the most important steps after a surgery.

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Having ripped abs is definitely the sign of someone who keeps
their body in great shape.

When you see a model who has ripped abs on the cover of a magazine, you wonder
exactly what it is they to to look so amazing.

This article will show you the guidelines that people follow to get ripped abs,
and how you can do this too.

How to Get Ripped Abs

RIPPED ABS TIP #1: Lower your body fat percentage.

This is absolutely crucial if you want ripped abs. If you are a man who wants
ripped abs, you will need your overall body fat to be less and 10%. If you are a
woman who wants ripped abs, you will need your overall body fat percentage to be
less than 14%.

A person could have an amazing set of ripped abs, but will not be able to see
them if they are covered up by a layer of fat.

So in order to get ripped abs, you absolutely must lower your overall body fat,
and do it the right way.

RIPPED ABS TIP #2: Total body strength training and high
intensity cardio to raise metabolism.

To lower your body fat and get ripped abs, you need to raise your metabolism.

You can do this by combining total body strength training with high intensity
cardio. By doing this, you will raise your active and resting metabolism. This will
make your body burn more calories while exercising, and also at rest.

Most people try to get ripped abs by doing hundreds of crunches everday. While
this may help you build a strong core, it will not help to raise your metabolism.

If you want to exercise to get ripped abs, you need to add lean muscle mass that
will raise your metabolism. This will help you to burn lots of body fat and see
those ripped abs start to come through =)

RIPPED ABS TIP #3: Eat the right foods.

If you eat 4-6 small meals per day that consist of high quality protein, complex
carbs, and healthy fats, you are one step closer to having ripped abs.

These foods are great for building muscle and burning fat. By spacing them out
throughout the day, you will help to control your appetite and regulate your blood
sugar.

Regulating your blood sugar is very important in the quest to get ripped abs.
If you a big meal, your blood sugar rises drastically. Then, your body releases
more insulin to store the excess blood sugar as body fat.

Eating smaller meals of better foods helps to prevent this.

Remember, good nutrition is the cornerstone of having ripped abs!

So in conclusion, you can see that great nutrition combined with the right type
of exercise is the ultimate solution to having great abs. When you combine these
principles and lower your body fat percentage, you will see those ripped abs start
to come through!

The Six Pack Abs DietThe Six Pack Abs Diet

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

The six pack abs diet is really a brand new lifestyle, and if you want that new midriff section, that is what you are going to need to get it.

If you're like most people, dieting is torture. It is a huge change from your normal eating routines.

You've probably shopped around, looking for a diet that said it would give you a lean body, and that wasn't unbearable to live with. You may have even tried a few, only to find they weren't the six pack abs diet you were looking for.

Guess what? They were all misleading you.

The kind of food intake you need to get those six packs requires doing everything differently. It isn't just a matter of what you eat. There is the question of where, when, how much, and why!

If you are single and eat out, you probably eat a lot of stuff that's richer in calories than you would ever cook yourself. Sumptuous food is one of the perks of eating out a lot, but it won't help you tone up those abdominals. If you have a family to cook for, they can object to your eating requirements, requesting special foods that you are trying to avoid or even demanding what they want. If they aren't on your diet, then there is no way around it.

What can you do? First, stop thinking in terms of diet. You won't get that kind of body out of a diet, and a good exercise routine, alone, will not shed all the body fat you need to. You have to think about how you live, instead, and make your commitment to a different lifestyle.

There is a trade off here: eating rich food and having a great looking, healthy body.

If you eat out, do a little restaurant shopping and find places that will prepare food the way you want it. Ask if they will prepare your chicken or fish in vegetable oil instead of butter. Try vegetarian cuisine or Japanese food. They are both very low in fat and high in protein.

Chefs can be very understanding. Some restaurants will serve gravy, sauce, and salad dressing on the side. See what they offer that is low cal. Request uncooked vegetables. If you eat with someone else, suggest that they try your new restaurant discoveries, for a change.

Do you eat lunch out? Consider bringing it with you instead. You can eat a pita sandwich while you walk in the park, or do window shopping. Bring in vegetable sticks and fruit for snacks at work.

Instead of counting calories, think of those six pack abs that you long to see in the mirror.

If you are the cook, you can use the same techniques at home, plus a few more. Serve your plate as you cook, leaving out the things you don't need.

Think of yourself first. If you are eating healthier, so is your family. If there is something everyone just can't live without, use low-cal and fat free substitutes to make it. Always serve dessert when you are ready to leave the table. Take turns cleaning up, so you can spend the extra time walking or doing a few reverse crunches.

Remember, a six pack abs diet is a lifestyle. Live it, and soon you'll be living with six pack abs.

So How Can I Really Get Ripped Abs?

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Next to the ‘bi’s’ and ‘tri’s’ in the arms, the next region that almost every body in the gym may seemingly be obsessed with may be the core…the abs as they are more commonly addressed.

Well, one can’t blame them.

Every guy knows that the cut and sculpted arms and chiseled abdominal muscles are some of the things the ladies are so attracted to and heck, with Janet Jackson or Beyonce showing off their chiseled mid-sections, should it be a surprise that even teenage GIRLS are asking: How can I get my abs ‘ripped’ like that?!

Well, male or female if this sounds like you, then I offer you the following tips.

According to what I personally use, what most boxers implement and what most trainers recommend for their clients, the following exercises are the top picks for toning the abs:

1. Bicycle maneuver.

To do this exercise, you lie flat on the floor with your lower back pressed to the ground. Put your hands beside your head. Bring your knees up to about a 45-degree angle and slowly go through a bicycle pedal motion. Touch your left elbow to your right knee, then your right elbow to your left knee. Breathe evenly throughout the exercise.

2. The Ab-Wheel (My favorite)

-Start with a hand on each grip and kneel down with both knees together on the floor.

-Lock your arms and hold the wheel at your knees on the floor.

-Slowly roll the wheel out and away from your knees and continue going forward until your hands are beyond your head.

-Do not touch the floor; your body should be 3-6 inches above the floor. Return to the starting position by pulling in with your abdominal muscles and arching your back.

-Keep your arms straight and use your core muscles to return to the starting position again. Breathe in at the start and exhale on the way down. 7-10 repetitions equal one set AND one hell of a workout!

3. Crunches:

* Lie down flat on your back with your knees bent and your feet on the floor.

* Hold your hands wherever you feel comfortable (on your chest or beside your head - just be sure you don't pull on your head).

* The typical crunch is taught by instructing you to simply roll your upper torso forward. This is fine to start with.

* To increase the effectiveness of the crunch movement, push your chest and head up towards the ceiling pushing your lower back flat onto the floor.

* Your anatomy will automatically cause you to follow a crunching pattern.

* Trying to crunch up towards the ceiling will increase the tension on the abs.

* Hold at the top of the movement for a second and squeeze hard.

* Do not lift up into a sit-up as this works the hip flexors and can strain your back.

4. Gorilla Chin-Up/Crunch

This compound exercise works the abdominals, as well as the biceps and Lats. Start by hanging from a chinning bar with your knees bent at a 90 degree angle and your hands about 12 inches apart. You should use an underhand S grip to hang from the bar.

Pull yourself up with your arms and crunch your knees up at the same time. You should finish the chin and crunch at the same time. When fully contracted, your nose should be at the bar and your knees pulled up to your chest. Slowly reverse the movement and return to the starting position.

If you notice, these exercises above work not just ONE part of the body, but a variety of muscle groups at the same time, thus making them super-productive and less time consuming to get a whole body work out.

Now, other factors that do come to mind for toning the abs include:

* exercising all areas of your abs,

* breathing through the exercise while executing it properly,

* adding aerobics to your workout program,

* and implementing a properly balanced diet program.

So, there you have it folks, the tips to get your own chiseled abs (and might I add, toned arms and strengthened upper body at that…)

Just be careful not to be too much of a show-off come summertime…(Hey, I may be at the beach too and I’m up for the challenge of an ‘ab-dance off’!

What You Should Know About ABS and Why You Need It

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Anti-lock brakes are the most important active safety system available in an automobile today.

The History of ABS Like many things in the auto industry, ABS comes from the aviation industry. The first system available on cars was introduced by Bosch and equipped on the Mercedes-Benz S-Class in 1978. Over the last 2 decades, ABS has marched down market and is now available on virtually every vehicle sold in North America. Each successive generation has become more efficient and quicker to react in emergency situations.

How it works Speed sensors are located at each wheel. When these sensors 'sense' that a tire has stopped moving (the wheel is locked under braking) the sensor sends a message to the controller that in turn regulates the brake pressure to reduce lock-up. It 'pumps' the brakes over a dozen times per second by increasing brake pressure and reducing it, over and over again. Since the wheels are not locked up, a driver can swerve to avoid an obstacle while under hard braking.

Types of Anti-lock Braking Systems There are two system designs, four-wheel ABS and rear-wheel ABS. Rear-wheel systems were offered on pick-ups and some SUV's in the early and mid nineties. They only pumped the rear wheels.

Today it is difficult to find this system. Four-wheel ABS is now the mainstream. But there are two variations of four-wheel ABS. There are four-channel anti-lock braking systems and three-channel.

Both systems have speed sensors at each wheel but a three-channel system pumps the rear brakes at the same speed and the two front wheels pump individually.

A four-channel system pumps all four brakes individually as they may be on different surfaces such as ice, gravel, pavement or grass. A three-channel system is cheaper to produce and is typically offered on less expensive cars. The four-channel system is a better, more precise system, though a three channel system is still far better than no ABS at all.

The misconception ABS is not designed to reduce your vehicles braking distance. In fact depending on the road surface, it can slightly increase your braking distance. ABS is designed to give the driver full control in an emergency situation. Since the wheels won't lock, you have full control of steering so that you can avoid an obstacle. On slippery surfaces, ABS pays dividends as you can now steer away from an obstacle instead of sliding right into it.

Using ABS When ABS is automatically activated in an emergency braking situation it makes a sound and pulses through the brake pedal. This is normal. Do not pump the brakes. This will render the system useless and will cause dramatically increased braking distances. The system will do its job but you have to be confident and get on the brakes as hard as possible. Get on'em, and stay on'em!!

ABS pays for itself time and time again. Think about it. ABS costs about $500. How much does just a small fender bender cost? ABS pays for itself by helping you avoid an accident and it gives you piece of mind when driving on slippery surfaces.

An Exercise To Create Those Sexy Six Pack Abs

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Would you like to have abs that make your friends jealous and are a serious attraction to the opposite sex? I have a great exercise for you. It's called the "Cross T Ball Exchange." The only equipment we need is an inflatable exercise ball.

First, let me remind you that big determinants to how your abdominals look are your nutrition and your well-rounded exercise routine. You have to have both of those in place to get visible results from ANY ab exercise. Despite television ads to the contrary, it's impossible to "spot reduce" fat from a particular body part. If you have a "beer belly" or this is the only exercising you do, we will make your abs stronger and more toned but a layer of body fat will cover up your six-pack treasure. The bottom-line is to make sure you are doing your part with a good nutrition program and a solid exercise plan.

Start the "Cross T Ball Exchange" by lying on the ground face up. With your legs straight or slightly bent, bring your feet six inches off the ground. Hold the ball at arms' length directly over your upper torso. Touch the ball to the ground to your left at about waist level, keeping your torso on the ground and your legs elevated throughout the exercise. Now touch the ball to the ground at waist level to your right. While extending your arms, touch the ball to the ground over your head. Now move your legs and arms toward each other so you can exchange the ball from your hands to your legs, placing the ball right between your ankles. The straighter your legs are during the exercise, the more difficult it will be. Lower your legs until the ball touches the ground and then bring your legs back up to your hands to take the ball and start again. That is one repetition.

This is not an exercise for anyone with lower back problems. It is for people who are already in good shape and are looking for a way to spice up their ab routine. It is a regular part of many of my clients' routines, typically for three sets of 12 to 15 reps. The exercise uses your entire core area; making it a good ab exercise for someone wants to work the entire muscle complex but has limited time.

If the exercise seems too difficult at first try having your feet higher than six inches off the ground and/or bend your knees significantly. Don't get discouraged if you can only do a few reps at first. Rome wasn't built in a day and neither are great abs. Just add a repetition or two as you become accustomed to the exercise. The "Cross T Ball Exchange" will help take your abs to the next level!
