Best Ab Exercises? Get Hot Abs with These Popular Abdominal Exercises

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Looking for six pack abs to improve your appearance but don't know where to start?
These six pack stomach exercises aren't incredibly difficult, but they are very
important (and very specific) because your goal is so defined. The following three
exercises are some of the best ab exercises for those wishing to get six pack abs,
so take good notes!

Crunches are where you lay flat on the floor with the exception
of your knees that must be bent. Alternate moving each arm over your chest while
feeling your abdominal muscles tightening up and possibly burning to get the full
effect. These are widely considered to be the best six pack stomach exercises, but
there are others that can achieve your goal. However, six pack stomach exercises
should be rotated on a regular basis.

Lying Bicycles are when you are lying supine on the floor with
your legs raised at the hips and hands beside your head. Bending your right leg
at the knee while pulling your right thigh up at the hip along with curling your
spine will achieve the goal. Just as you may have been able to glean by reading
the title, this exercise should make you appear to be riding a bicycle while lying
in the floor.

Seated Jackknife exercises are when you are sitting flat on
a bench with your legs extended in front of you with your upper body at a 45 degree
angle to the bench. Fold your body by bringing your legs in and curling your spine
forward and bend your knees as you raise your legs inward. Hold the position for
a moment and then return to the original position.

Don't believe that doing six pack stomach exercises one day will create a six
pack the next day, it is definitely a process! Just keep in mind that this is a
major goal for you and you wanted it so bad in the beginning. These integral six
pack stomach exercises are a great first step, but there are more to come, stay
motivated!

Flatten Your ABS - How to Get A 6 Pack

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

With all the "ab rollers", "torso tracks" and the countless other ways advertised to get your stomach six-pack flat, it's no wonder people are completely confused. Recently, we had a chance to ask a producer of one of those infomercials how they get away with such blatant lies---promising you the same taunt tummy as that professional model on TV if you do "such and such" exercise for just 8 minutes a day. Well, this producer told use that the truth lies in the fine print. Every product purchased includes instructions that read something like this: "Do this exercise along with a proper diet."; well you get the idea. You can do the ab cruncher until you turn purple, but the simple fact is that unless you address the real problem it won't make a bit of difference. You'll just end up with an awesome set of abs that you'll never see.

The real problem is that layer of body fat that's covering the six-pack you already have. We all have a six-pack! It's called the rectus abdominus, and if you can stand upright, you have one. The reason some people have a well-defined stomach and others don't has very little to do with how many stomach exercises (or what kind) they do. It is completely a function of how much body fat they carry. Is it important to do your abdominal work? Yes! The ab training you do will help strengthen, raise and define the abdominal wall. That's a great thing! But there's a three-step process to getting a well define stomach:

Burn More Calories Than You Eat Ask any dietician, physician, exercise physiologist, trainer or any other person you think to be an authority on weight loss this simple question, "If I eat a balanced diet and burn more calories than I consume will I lose weight?" They have to answer, "Yes." The body must maintain a state of homeostasis (an equal balance). If the body needs energy that's not supplied by your food intake it will draw that energy from stored fat. They may wrap their answer up in some low-carbohydrate, high protein package, but all the latest diets on the market today, in the end, are calorie deficit diets.

Exercise Aerobically The most effective way to get to your stored body fat as a source of energy during exercise is to do aerobic training. Your aerobic training rate will be anywhere between 60-75% (if you're a beginner) 70-85% (if you're in shape) of your maximum heart rate (220 - your age). When your heart rate is at this constant pace, your body is using two sources of energy: glycogen (converted and stored carbohydrates) and fat. In no other form of exercise will you find this happening at such high rates.

One of the biggest mistakes people make is ending their aerobic training early so they have time to do their abs. The longer you stay in your aerobic zone, the more your glycogen levels continue to decrease. This increases the percentage of energy used from stored fat. Remember: the last twenty minutes of your hourly aerobic workout are your most efficient.

You can do your ab work anywhere. We can hardly think of a place where you can't drop and do some crunches. You may look silly but you get our drift. However, there isn't a Stairmaster, recumbent bike or your favorite treadmill everywhere. If you are truly serious about getting a great looking stomach, spend those extra minutes burning your stored fat aerobically.

Build More Muscle If a 150-pound woman converts 10% of her body fat to muscle, she will burn about 300 extra calories per day. It's a physiological fact! This is a great metabolism boost.

The down side to this is, building muscle is not an easy task and is also a very inefficient way to try to lose body fat on its own. It is also important to realize that you can't spot train those extra inches away from your problem area(s). Doing crunches for your abs, squats or lunges for your thighs and butt or triceps extensions for the backs of your arms will only build a great muscle underneath the layer of body fat.

That being said, when you have the first two steps of this process down, then put your attention on your abdominal work

Pilates Abs Exercises

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Pilates was created by Joseph Pilates, during the First World War. It is an exercise that primarily focuses on strengthening and creating a better looking stomach and buttocks. it also increases your flexibility improves your posture and strengthens the body's muscles.

You do not only exercise the body, you also exercise your mind with the breathing concentration needed to complete your pilates abs exercises. By making the whole body tighter pilates would be the perfect exercise for someone who wants to tone up those abs.

There are several different pilates abs exercises such as, plank. This is when you are in the push up position and you are using your elbows to support your body weight. You then contract your abs holding this position for 30 to 60 seconds and repeat as many times as possible.

There is also the 100s position, in which you lie flat on your back with your legs together and straight. Lifting your head and shoulders off the ground you pull in your abs. You then lower your legs as close as possible to the ground while keeping your back on the ground. Inhale and exhale for 5 seconds each time and then repeat one hundred times.

Most fitness programs and people teach you the more you do the better it is, however pilates teaches you that the quality of each movement is much better than quantity. So, for example instead of doing 50 leg raises, opting to do 20 reps would be better because you get tired less quickly. You can then focus on holding every move and maintaining the quality of it instead of just powering through 50 and getting it over with.

There are many different pilates abs exercise videos available on the market to show the exercises in action, however you should always consult your physician before you choose to begin any new exercise program.

Still, the effective ways is through constant exercises and go to the gym and pull up weights.

In building your six pack abs, you have to target three places. That would be your sides, the upper abdominals and the lower abdominals. To build and strengthen your sides, you can do twists or simply sit on a chair with your body straight up. You can also use a broomstick and place it across your shoulders and the left to right twist.

The Quick and Easy Way to Tone Up Your Abs - Part 3

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

All About Abs - Ab Training

Exercises for Variety and Development Step by Step Abdominal Training Explained

Concept 1: How Many Times Per Week to Train Abs

Do you remember hearing somewhere that in order to get the abdominals you want; you've got to train them everyday? I know I heard that from several sources. None of those sources had super ripped abs.

Fact: Many of the people who DO have ripped abs train them 1-3 times per week.

Train your abs 1-3 times per week. I would recommend training them after a smaller body part workout like chest and biceps and abs, or shoulder, triceps and abs. You can do them on your off days as well. Try to avoid doing them with legs as it's a major body part. Try to avoid doing them first as you'll need your stabilizers to be 100% when they are used in other compound exercises.

You probably already know this... your abs can be trained a bit more frequently then most other muscle groups because of two factors:

1. The muscle density is different allowing for different recovery time

2. 99.9% of programs do not encourage you to train abs to muscular failure

You don't want to train abs to muscular failure for the purpose of this guide.

Concept 2: How Many Exercises Per Session

If you're like me, you don't want another session added to your workout that is going to add another 20 minutes to your gym time. But like any other muscle, the abdominals require a bit of stimulation but just enough to grow and change and become stronger.

Unlike other body parts, you won't be doing countless sessions for abs. In fact...

Use 3-5 exercises per session

That's all you really need. Use the schedule listed in this guide or just pick 3 different exercises and do 3-5 different exercises per session. You can vary your rest up to 90 seconds.

You've got to wonder why people train abs by themselves for 30 or more minutes at a time. That's crazy! And most of the people coming out of those "Ab Blaster" classes don't even have abs. They are doing longer sessions for a single muscle group then you ever need to engage in.

Simply put, 3-5 exercises will do just fine.

Concept 3: Using Cardio as A Metabolism Boosting Tool

For maximum fat loss, you should do cardio 4-7 days per week for 30-60 minutes (the amount is variable depending on your results). You could continue running or mix up the type of cardio you do (stationary cycling, stairclimbing, elliptical machines, and other continuous aerobic activities are all excellent fat burners without the high impact and joint stress of frequent running).

If time efficiency is an issue for you, you could perform high intensity interval cardio training and achieve very efficient results with even briefer workouts (20-30 min per sessions, or less, if the intensity is high enough) Once you are satisfied with your level of body fat and your abdominal definition, you can cut back to 3 days per week for 20-30 minutes for maintenance.

Concept 4: Advanced Techniques

Part of this guide is to ensure that you use all the techniques possible in order to achieve the results you want. There are two techniques you can use so that your routine doesn't become 'routine.'

1. Tempo Variation: Another way to increase the effectiveness of the training program is to focus on the tempo of the exercise. Tempo just means the speed of the exercise. For example, a 3-1-1 tempo means you'll take 3 seconds to lower the weight, then you'll pause for 1 second, and then you'll lift the weight back up in 1 second.

2. Variety: It's been said that your body will adapt to any routine within 5-6 workouts. By including many different exercises, it will be impossible to adapt. Not only will your body be continually challenged but the variety will help to ward of getting bored of doing the same things every week, every workout.

3. Multiple Angles: While the abdominals are classified as a 'single' muscle, that doesn't mean you can't work it from a variety of angles in order to achieve the maximum stimulation. Many times an individual will have their upper abdominals developed but are lacking any real "visual" development in the lower abs. Rather then focus on a section of the abdominals, this guide will encourage you to work the muscle from a variety of angles for the best possible stimulation.

Stay tuned for Part 4 that will flat out give you 6 months worth of ab workouts you can do.

If you can't wait, the Beginner's Guide to Abdominal Training is just one bonus book in the Beginner's Guide to Fitness and Bodybuilding http://www.beginning-bodybuilding.com Learn how to develop the perfect set of abs, the nutritional secrets that will have you in summer shape and the revolutionary training that eliminates the need for 100+ crunches per day. Does Spot Reduction Work for Abs or Doesn’t?

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Burning fat from the abdomen through exercises specially destined to the abdominal muscles was, is and will always be one of the most resistant myths.

Almost all the people with a big belly take up, with a lot of determination, sit-ups, crunches, side-bends, twists, etc., hoping that every new series or set of exercises, every session of repeating them, will help them get rid of the 'ring' of adipose tissue around their waist, also called 'the ring of death'.

Besides the fact that it is probably the most anesthetic 'deposit' of adipose tissue, abdominal fat involves many risks for the health of the person which possesses it (related to diabetes, high blood pressure, cardio-vascular diseases, cancer, impotence, etc.).

We must keep in mind, once and for all, that when we refer to the melting of the subcutaneous adipose tissue, there is no spot reduction. No matter how much we strive to locate effort in the areas we are focused on, we will only fortify the muscles under the fat, but the reduction of the fat itself will be insignificant. The explanation is simple and is connected to the energetic support of the anaerobic effort, which uses, for the exercises, muscular and hepatic glycogen, and not fat acids from the adipose tissue. For getting to the deposits of fat, what we need is cardio training (running, biking, fast walking, swimming, etc.).This type of exercises must be maintained for a long time (45-60 minutes) and they must be intense (60-70% from the maximum of heart rhythm).

An alternative is cardio training with periods when intensity varies, although the total volume is not smaller than in the case of uniformly cardio training.

A very important role in burning fat is held by the diet. It is said that the most effective of training can be sabotaged in the kitchen.

The nutritionists say that a diet which maintains caloric deficit, but keeps a balanced proportion of the basic principles (proteins, lipids, blood sugar), with a slight increase of the protein part, will always have as a consequence losing weight. Physical exercises like sit-ups, crunches, etc., without other exercises meant to involve bigger groups of muscles (thighs, chest, back) and to fortify the abdominal muscles, do not increase very much the basic metabolic rate.

As a consequence, indirect burning of calories (during breaks, post-training) is very small in comparison with the burning due to aerobic effort (especially the ones with alternative periods) – in their case, during effort taking more than 20 minutes, the energetic support is exactly the adipose tissue.

The magic formula for burning abdominal fat is a combination of hypo caloric diet and exercise – especially aerobic, but also anaerobic (focused on all the body, not only the abdominal muscles).

Discover How to Use Abdominal Equipment the Right Way for Sculpting Tight, Sexy Abs

Daily 1000s Of Peoples Are Getting 6 Pack Abs From This Method

>>  Be Sure That You Will Never Get Six Pack Abs Unless You Know These Strategies <<

Stop wasting your money on useless informercial abdominal products. Learn how to effectively work your abs with the right ab equipment so you can finally develop a flat sexy waist with abs you can be proud to show off.

What ab equipment you need depends on how you go about training your abs. If you train your abs with the most people get ab exercise - lots of sets and reps - then you don't need much in the way of ab equipment. Performing sets of the basic floor crunch and reverse floor crunch are all you realy need. If these ab exercises are uncomfortable for you, then you may need some basic equipment just for comfort reasons.

Now, if you decide to train your abs properly, you'll most likely need some quality ab equipment. What do I mean by training your abs properly? Your abdominals are a muscle group, just like any other muscle group.

Let's take a look at some common misconceptions with regard to ab exercise and then we'll mention some ab equipment that actually works for you.

Is there anything out there in the fitness world suffering from more misinformation that how to get abs?

The number of ab machines constantly coming to market is mind boggling. Especially considering that they aren't needed and won't give you the results that you want.

Let's set the record straight on ab training right now and give you the real information you need so you can say no to the next infomercial ab machine and yes to actual abs.

  • Training your abs consistently will eventually give you the flat stomach or six-pack that you want.

No. It's not gonna happen if your abs are covered by a layer of body fat and doing endless sets of ab exercises is not the way to rid yourself of that excess body fat.

  • Train your abs everyday for best results.

Again, no. Your abs are a muscle, just like your chest, lats, arms and so on. You should train your abs just like these other muscles, with progressive resistance and high intensity - then allow them to rest and recover. Never train your abs more than 3 days a week.

  • You need to do hundreds or reps and feel the burn to get great abs.

Yep, again the answer is no. The abs a muscle just like I mentioned above. To get six pack abs you need to strip off the fat, but you also need to build the abs to get them to really pop out.

If the muscle isn't developed, you'll just have a flat stomach but no abs. The name of the game is progressive resistance for sets of 8 - 20 reps, just like your other muscles.

  • Train the abs with lots of sets and high reps to burn off stomach fat.
You guessed it. This is also false. Spot reduction just isn't going to happen as much as we'd all like it to. You can't burn fat on your stomach by doing endless crunches.

In order to do the proper ab exercise and develop a flat, toned, tight midsection, you need to follow these rules. And that means working your abs with progressive resistance weight training, just like your other muscles.

You need to put together a proper weight lifting program, nutrition plan, and cardio in order to rid your stomach of that stubborn layer of fat and bring yout your abs
